Selected Representative Quotes
I love psychology, and I initially did not want to take this class, but I am glad I did. I learned things in psychology I had never given any thought. The fact that she was able to relate psychology to fields i thought had little or no prevalence made me love the class even more.
Community Psychology student, 2019
This course still made me feel connected to the professor even though it was completely online.
Introduction to Psychology student, 2020
The classroom was very laid back while still keeping a somewhat urgency on the learning. This was a nice change of pace from the usual classroom setting while not losing an value in the teaching aspect.
Qualitative Methods student, 2019
This was my second round in this course and the way Dr. S laid it out, I was much more successful. All of her assignments had a purpose, and I learned so much better in her course than my previous course. It was challenging, but not too overwhelming, and Dr. S was extremely helpful in making sure we understood the material.
Research Methods & Statistics I student, 2020
[Dr. Steltenpohl] is easily the best professor I have ever had at USI. She always answers my questions even when I should already know the answers. She allows the online classroom to be very welcoming and fun while still wanting us to be serious about the materials. I am super sad that she is leaving USI as she has helped me not only learn, but she has helped me plan for my future.
Research Methods & Statistics II student, 2021
I don’t have anything negative to say, but I would like to point out that she actually gives useful feedback to all of our assignments so that we can improve.
